1 million Easter lilies blooming in splendor at Iejima's spectacular spring scenery
Iejima is a small island 30 minutes by ferry from Motobu Port. Every year from late April to early May, about 1 million Easter lilies bloom all at once at Lily Field Park. The contrast between the pure white lily fields, the blue sea, and Shiro Mountain (Tacchuu), the island's symbol, is breathtakingly beautiful. Many events are held during the lily festival period.
