Downtown cherry blossom walk enjoying the blossoms at Asukayama Park and views from the Arakawa Tram Line windows
Asukayama Park has been a renowned cherry blossom viewing destination since Tokugawa Yoshimune planted the first trees, with approximately 600 cherry trees blooming in splendor. The park also features the Shibusawa Eiichi Memorial Museum and the Former Shibusawa Garden, allowing visitors to enjoy historical walks. Taking the Arakawa Tram Line from Oji toward Waseda, you can enjoy the cherry-lined streets along the route from the tram window, and around Omokage Bridge, the magnificent cherry blossom tunnel along the tracks is a sight to behold.
