Yahiko Mountain is a sacred peak with an elevation of 634 meters and has been revered since ancient times as the sacred mountain of Echigo Ichinomiya Yahiko Shrine. Easy access to the summit is available via cable car, and from the Panorama Tower you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the horizon of the Japan Sea and the vast Echigo Plain. On clear days, Sado Island can also be seen, and the view is especially beautiful during sunset hours. It can be enjoyed together with a visit to Yahiko Shrine.
