Sado Island is known as 'The Island of Taiko,' home to a world-famous taiko performing arts group. Experience facilities on the island offer taiko workshops where, under the guidance of professional taiko performers, you can learn everything from basic bachi grip and striking techniques to rhythm patterns. The vibrations resonating through the large drum and the exhilaration of striking with your whole body are exceptional. With a 60-minute course, you'll be able to play a simple piece and experience a true sense of accomplishment.
