In spring, when approximately 4,000 Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms bloom in full splendor, the 'Takada Castle Ruins Park Cherry Blossom Viewing Festival' is held, and the magnificent scene of cherry blossoms lit by approximately 3,000 lanterns reflected on the surface of the inner moat is breathtaking. The beautiful illumination of the three-tiered tower also adds to the spectacle, and the site is visited by over 1 million people every year. During the event period, street stalls line up, and visitors can also enjoy the lively atmosphere of cherry blossom viewing.
