Kids nature exploration program where you interact with deer while exploring Wakakusa Mountain in Nara
Wakakusa Mountain is a 342-meter elevation grassy mountain adjacent to Nara Park, with a unique environment where wild deer roam freely. In the Kids Nature Exploration Program, participants climb Wakakusa Mountain with a guide while observing deer ecology, seasonal flowers and grasses, and collecting insects. From the mountain peak, a spectacular view of the Nara Basin and Yamato Three Mountains unfolds, making it a place of adventure where children discover the wonders of nature.

Approximately 10 minutes by bus from Kintetsu Nara Station, get off at Kasuga Taisha Main Hall
