Miyama Kirishima of Unzen Nita Pass

Unzen Nita Pass is an observation spot at an elevation of approximately 1,080m. From mid to late May, clusters of Miyama Kirishima dye the mountainsides pink. Taking the ropeway to the summit of Myoken-dake, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the impressive forms of Fugen-dake and Heisei Shinzan alongside a carpet of flowers. It's a spot where you can enjoy spectacular scenery throughout the four seasons, with autumn foliage, winter rime frost, and more.
