Hasami-yaki Hand-Painting Experience Workshop

Hasami-yaki is a traditional porcelain from Nagasaki Prefecture with approximately 400 years of history. In recent years, modern designs have become popular with younger generations, and many tableware brands trending on social media have emerged. At kilns and experience facilities in Hasami Town, experience workshops are held where visitors can freely hand-paint white porcelain cups and plates. Professional artisans provide guidance on color application and brush techniques, and finished pieces are delivered approximately one month later.
