Cedar Tree Avenue Approach to Togakushi Shrine's Inner Shrine

The approximately 2km approach path to Togakushi Shrine's Inner Shrine is a mystical space lined with massive cedar trees over 400 years old standing on both sides. Upon passing through the Zuishinmon gate, a cedar-lined path like another world unfolds, and the dappled sunlight filtering through creates a solemn atmosphere year-round. In winter, the snow-covered cedar avenue becomes magical, while in spring it transforms into a refreshing green tunnel. It is also popular as a power spot.
