Aoshima Subtropical Botanical Garden

Aoshima is a small island with a circumference of about 1.5km, offering a unique landscape where the entire island is covered with subtropical vegetation. The island is surrounded by wave-carved rock formations called the "Devil's Washboard," making it a geologically valuable spot. The free subtropical botanical garden allows visitors to observe southern plants such as Livistona palm and Phoenix palm up close, and Aoshima Shrine, famous for matchmaking, sits at the center of the island.
