Panoramic View from Kameyama, Kesennuma Ohshima

Kesennuma Ohshima became accessible by car in 2019 when a bridge was built. From the summit of Kameyama (235m), the island's highest peak, the Sanriku rias coastline and Pacific Ocean spread out in a 360-degree panorama. The early morning sunrise and the nightscape with scattered fishing lights are spectacular. Well-maintained easy hiking trails are also available.
