Yokoyama Observatory, Shima

Yokoyama Observatory is located at the 203-meter summit within Ise-Shima National Park, offering panoramic views of the complex inlets created by Ago Bay's ria coastline and the pearl cultivation rafts. The wooden terrace, renovated in 2018, features a design that projects toward the sea, providing an outstanding sense of openness. The sunset hours are particularly beautiful, with Ago Bay glowing orange—a signature scenery representing Ise-Shima.
