Akame 48 Waterfalls is a gorge located within the Murō-Akame-Aoyama Quasi-National Park, where 23 large and small waterfalls cascade over approximately 4km. The five waterfalls of Fudō Falls, Senzu Falls, Nunobiki Falls, Nitai Falls, and Biwa Falls are particularly magnificent, each displaying its own unique appearance. The walking trail is well-maintained, and forest hiking while viewing the waterfalls is ideal for refreshing both body and mind. In summer, you can observe salamanders, and in autumn, the area is bustling as a famous spot for autumn foliage.
