The Kyoto Railway Museum is one of Japan's largest railway museums, showcasing 53 actual train vehicles from steam locomotives to shinkansen. With the driving simulator, you can experience piloting a shinkansen or diesel locomotive, and the railway diorama is so intricate and beautifully detailed that you can't help but be captivated. Outdoors, you can actually board the SL Steam Train, guaranteeing the children's eyes will light up. At the adjacent Umekoji Park, you can run around and play.
