The Kyoto Nishijin area is a textile production region with a 1,500-year history. At the gallery shop directly operated by weavers, you can purchase handwoven Nishijin-ori obi, han-eri, bags, business card holders, and more at factory direct prices. From luxurious obi made with gold and silver thread to contemporary-designed accessories, there's a wide selection. On the second floor workshop, you can observe the actual weaving process and experience firsthand the enormous effort and skill required to complete a single obi.
