Harutori Lake Walking Trail in Kushiro

Located in the urban area of Kushiro City, Harutori Lake is a National Natural Monument where Hibuna fish inhabit. The approximately 4 km walking trail circling the lake is a gathering place for citizens where you can walk while observing wild birds and wetland plants. A museum and the ruins of an amusement park can be found along the lakeside, allowing you to experience Kushiro's history. An early morning stroll through drifting fog is truly fantastical.
