Souvenir Shopping at Sakura no Babajo Saien

Sakura no Babajo Saien is a tourism and cultural exchange facility spread at the foot of Kumamoto Castle. Buildings that recreate the atmosphere of a castle town are lined with souvenir shops and restaurants handling Kumamoto specialty products. Products unique to Kumamoto are well-stocked, including Kumamon's official merchandise, karashi renkon, processed basashi, and Kuma shochu.
