Aso Children's Nature Experience School

Aso City offers abundant nature experience programs for children. At the Aso Volcano Museum, you can learn how the earth works through actual eruption footage and models. Horseback riding at Kusasenri and milking and butter-making at farms provide precious experiences to touch the warmth of life. During summer vacation, guide tours of the Aso Geopark are also held, and fieldwork to learn about the formation of the caldera on-site is ideal for social studies learning.
