Experience yuzu harvesting in the mountain yuzu fields of Umi Village, Japan's premier yuzu village
Though Umi Village is a small village of about 800 people, it is known nationwide for its yuzu processed products as a yuzu region. In the autumn yuzu harvest experience, you can pick fruit in yuzu fields that spread between rice terraces and also enjoy a yuzu pressing experience. Bathing at Umi Onsen, tasting yuzu ponzu and yuzu drinks are also appealing. It is a heartwarming experience to encounter the warm hospitality of the village.
