The Taushubetsu River Bridge in Kamishihoro Town is a 'phantom bridge' that appears and disappears with the water level fluctuations of Lake Nukabira. Especially in winter, when the lake surface freezes completely, a majestic sight emerges with the arch bridge rising from the white ice field. In the early morning world of minus 20 degrees, the concrete arch illuminated by the morning sun is breathtakingly beautiful. A visit via guided tour is recommended.
