Ibusuki and Nagasaki Cape: The Dragon Palace Legend

Nagasaki Cape is located at the southernmost point of the Satsuma Peninsula and is a mystical spot associated with the Dragon Palace legend of Urashima Taro. From the tip of the cape, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the beautiful silhouette of Mount Kaimen and the East China Sea; on clear days, you can even see Yakushima and Tanegashima islands in the distance. Ryugu Shrine is said to grant blessings for romantic bonds and matchmaking, and the cape is also known as a nesting ground for sea turtles.
