Sakurajima Geopark Kids Experience

Sakurajima Geopark features a rich volcanic learning program for children. As you walk through the lava fields, you can learn about volcanic eruption mechanisms and types of lava. At the Sakurajima Visitor Center, you can also experience eruption simulations. Including the foot bath at Yougannagisa Park and viewing the buried torii gate, it's a magnificent outdoor classroom where you can feel the living Earth.
