Kita-yamazaki Sappa Boat Cruise

Kita-yamazaki in Tanohata Village is a representative scenic spot of the Sanriku Coast, with 200-meter-high cliffs stretching for 8km. While the view from the observation deck is magnificent, the cliffs viewed from the sea in a sappa boat (small fishing boat) operated by a fisherman are even more impressive. The grandeur of the cliffs as you gaze up while swaying with the waves, the thrill of passing through sea caves, the rocks visible on the sea floor in the transparent water.
