Kutani ware is a polychrome porcelain with over 350 years of history in southern Ishikawa Prefecture, characterized by five colors: red, yellow, green, purple, and deep blue. Kilns and workshops in Kaga city offer experience programs where you can paint designs on bisque pottery using the five Kutani colors. Under the guidance of craftsmen, you can create your own original Kutani ware, with the finished product shipped to you after firing.
