Hakusan and Tetori Gorge
白山市, Ishikawa
The Tetori River, flowing from Hakusan, has carved towering 30-meter cliffs and a scenic gorge
The Tetori Gorge was carved by the Tetori River, which originates from Hakusan, over a long period of time. Towering cliffs of 20-30 meters stretch for approximately 8 kilometers. The views from Komon Bridge and Furou Bridge are spectacular, with a magnificent contrast between the emerald green waters and rocky surfaces. It is especially beautiful during the autumn fall foliage season, and Wata-ga Falls, with a 32-meter drop, is a popular photography spot known for its impressive waterfall.
