Oarai Isosaki Shrine is an ancient shrine founded in 856, and the 'Kamiiiso Torii Gate' standing on the rocky reefs of the Pacific Ocean is its iconic symbol. The silhouette of the rocky shores battered by rough waves and the torii gate displays divine beauty, especially during sunrise hours. On New Year's Day, the shrine is filled with visitors praying for the first sunrise, and it is known as one of the most powerful spiritual spots in the Kanto region. It is also recommended to visit the adjacent Aqua World.
