Kasama Inari Shrine is one of Japan's three major Inari shrines, with approximately 3.5 million visitors annually. Every autumn, the 'Kasama Chrysanthemum Festival' is Japan's oldest chrysanthemum festival, with approximately 10,000 chrysanthemum plants displayed in the shrine grounds. Writing wishes on fox-shaped ema is a specialty, and you can also enjoy fox-themed cuisine on the approach street such as inari sushi and walnut inari.
