Takeda Castle Ruins is a mountain castle ruins constructed atop Kojoyama at an elevation of 353 meters. The sight of it floating in the sea of clouds that occurs from autumn to winter has earned it the name 'Castle in the Sky.' The breathtaking beauty of the sea of clouds and the castle ruins' silhouette viewed from Tatsuunkyo Observation Deck in the early morning hours is truly mesmerizing. The stone walls of the castle ruins themselves are splendid, and the site is designated as a National Historic Site.
