Yūfutsu Gennya Wetland Boardwalk

Yūfutsu Gennya, which spreads to the east of Tomakomai City, is a precious wetland registered under the Ramsar Convention. The area features well-maintained wooden boardwalks where you can observe wetland vegetation and wild birds such as Red-crowned cranes up close. Despite being near the city, this hidden gem preserves pristine nature. Early morning walks when morning mist hangs in the air are especially recommended.
