Taishaku Gorge is an approximately 18km-long limestone gorge located in northeastern Hiroshima Prefecture. Designated as a National Scenic Spot, the natural bridge 'Otsu Bridge' is counted among the world's three largest natural bridges. A sightseeing boat cruise on Shinryu Lake allows visitors to enjoy steep cliffs and seasonal scenery from the water. Especially during the autumn foliage season, the entire gorge turns brilliant shades of red and yellow, attracting many visitors. Well-maintained walking trails also make it ideal for hiking.
