Miyajima Aquarium 'Miyaji Marine' is located right near the World Heritage Itsukushima Shrine and features approximately 350 species and over 13,000 specimens, primarily of Seto Inland Sea creatures. Sea lion live performances and penguin feeding experiences are hugely popular with children. At the touch pool, visitors can actually touch starfish and sea cucumbers, nurturing an interest in marine life. It's a spot where families can enjoy themselves all day long, combining a visit to Itsukushima Shrine.
