Takumi no Sato is an experience-based tourist area utilizing the former Sugawa-juku post town. Over 20 experience workshops are scattered throughout, with soba-making being particularly popular. Using locally-produced soba flour, you'll learn the entire process from water preparation to stretching and cutting from skilled artisans. The soba you make can be boiled and tasted on-site—a truly indulgent experience. You can also enjoy woodworking and konjac-making activities.
