Parent-Child Rice Planting Experience in Kawaba Village

Kawaba Village is a beautiful agricultural village located in the mountains of northern Gunma Prefecture. The parent-child rice planting experience held here is a food education program where families experience traditional farming by entering the rice paddies barefoot in May and planting seedlings one by one by hand. The sight of children excited by the feel of mud is heartwarming, and in autumn there's also the rice harvesting experience where you harvest and eat the rice you planted.
