Handmade hand-sewn traditional amulet dolls called Sarubōbō from Hida Takayama
Sarubōbō is a red doll-shaped amulet passed down in the Hida region, meaning 'baby monkey.' At the experience workshop, you sew fabric together, stuff it with cotton, and add a headscarf and apron to create your own Sarubōbō. In recent years, colorful variations and modern designs have also become popular. Completed in approximately 40 minutes, it serves as both a souvenir and keepsake of your journey.
