Winter Ice Patterns of Fukushima Urabandai Goshiki-numa

Urabandai's Goshiki-numa is famous for its summer cobalt blue, but winter reveals a different world. When the lake surface freezes, mysterious ice patterns created by minerals in the water emerge, their white and blue gradations creating a fantastical scene.
