At kilns and experience facilities throughout the town, you can hand-paint unglazed pottery with traditional indigo pigment. You're free to create designs ranging from traditional patterns such as arabesques and geometric motifs to your own original illustrations. Your finished piece will be delivered to you after firing. The Tobe Ware Tourism Center also provides a kiln tour map, allowing you to deeply explore the world of Tobe ware.
