Tour of Japanese Sweets and Pickled Vegetable Shops Along Narita-san Approach
成田市, Chiba
Choose established Japanese sweets and teppou-zuke as souvenirs along the Narita-san Shinshoji approach
The Narita-san Shinshoji approach is a temple town about 800m long with approximately 150 shops. Established yokan and senbei shops, as well as specialty shops for teppou-zuke, a Narita specialty, offer a variety of traditional Japanese flavors. Chestnut steamed yokan from Yonekoya and hand-baked senbei from Nagomi-no Yonekoya are classic souvenirs of the approach. As you stroll along, you'll be drawn in by the aroma of eel kabayaki grilled at shop fronts while enjoying both food and shopping.
