An art field museum touring contemporary art works scattered throughout Ichihara's rural mountains
In the southern part of Ichihara City, in the Yoro Valley area, an art field spreads out with contemporary art works scattered throughout the rural mountain landscape. The area features a renovated former school building art space, installations standing in rice fields, forest objects, and other unique spaces where nature and art blend together. Even outside the exhibition period for 'Ichihara Art×Mix' held once every three years, permanent installations can be enjoyed. Combining art tours with the Kominato Railway's trolley train is a popular experience.
