Boso Fishing Experience and Set Net Viewing

Minami-Boso City offers a program where you can experience set net fishing in the early morning with fishermen. Before sunrise, you board a fishing boat and help pull up the offshore set nets. You observe the fish caught in the nets—yellowtail, horse mackerel, mackerel, and more—up close. Once back at the port, enjoy breakfast made with freshly caught fish. It's an early morning experience where you feel the work of fishermen and the gifts of the sea firsthand.
