Yanaka Sento Tour
Tour retro public bathhouses in an old town district. Experience Showa-era spaces with painted murals of Mount Fuji and traditional attendant counters.
The Yanaka and Nippori area is home to several retro public bathhouses that retain a Showa-era atmosphere. You can experience Japan's unique bathing culture through painted murals of Mount Fuji on high ceilings, wooden attendant counters, and tiled bathtubs. The bathing fee is Tokyo's standard price of 520 yen, which is very affordable. Casual conversations with regular patrons are also part of the bathhouse charm. Recently, renovated stylish bathhouses have increased in number, attracting younger generations as well. There's also a "Sento Stamp Rally" event where you can enjoy visiting multiple bathhouses.
