Shonan Surfing School

A school where you can experience surfing in Shonan, the birthplace of surfing in Japan. The gentle waves of Chigasaki Coast are perfect for beginners, and experienced instructors provide careful guidance. Boards and wetsuits can be rented, so you can participate empty-handed. In a 2-hour lesson, it's said that most people can stand up. After the lesson, it's also a luxury to spend time at a cafe while enjoying the view of the Shonan sea. Of course in summer, but also enjoyable in autumn and winter with a wetsuit.
