A representative small theater of Shimokitazawa that opened in 1982. With 386 seats positioned close to the stage, it offers an immediate sense of presence where you can even feel the actors' breath. Many popular theater groups and actors have launched from here, and it is known as a sacred site of Japanese small theater. Surrounding it are small theaters such as Suzunari and OFF·OFF Theater, giving Shimokitazawa the face of a "Theater Town." Tickets are relatively reasonably priced, allowing you to easily make your theatrical debut. After watching a play, it's also recommended to enjoy the lingering impression at nearby cafes or bars.
