Susukino Entertainment District
One of Japan's foremost entertainment districts, second only to Kabukicho in Tokyo. You can enjoy diverse nightlife from izakayas to bars.
Susukino is Hokkaido's largest entertainment district, spanning Chuo Ward in Sapporo, with over 4,000 dining establishments packed into the area. Diverse types of venues including izakayas, bars, snacks, and clubs line the streets, and many restaurants serve local fresh seafood and Genghis Khan grilled mutton. The area from Minami 4-jo to Minami 6-jo forms the center, and the neon-lit streetscape at night is an iconic symbol of Sapporo's nightlife. In winter, the Susukino Ice Festival features a magical sight with ice sculptures illuminated by neon lights.
