Maruyama Park Trail Running

Maruyama Park is a nature-rich urban park located in Sapporo while retaining primeval forest. The hiking trail of Maruyama (elevation 225m) is ideal for trail running and hiking, and from the summit you can enjoy a panoramic view of Sapporo city. Hokkaido Shrine is also enshrined within the park, and courses combined with shrine visits are also popular. In spring, it is known as a famous cherry blossom spot, and many runners enjoy cherry blossom viewing runs.
