Tokyo Midtown

A large-scale complex that opened in 2007 on the former Ministry of Defense site. Approximately 130 shops and restaurants are housed here, along with cultural facilities including the Suntory Museum of Art and 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT. The greenspace, comprising about 40% of the grounds, features a lawn plaza and Japanese garden, offering a sense of openness unexpected in an urban center. The cherry blossom avenue in spring and the "MIDTOWN CHRISTMAS" illuminations in winter are seasonal highlights. The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo is also located here, providing a space for refined leisure and dining.
