Okayama Korakuen is one of Japan's Three Great Gardens, hosting three special illuminated garden events each year: the Spring Fantasy Garden, Summer Fantasy Garden, and Autumn Fantasy Garden. The expansive stroll garden, illuminated with traditional Japanese-style lighting, is enveloped in a fantastical atmosphere completely different from daytime. The spectacular collaboration with illuminated Okayama Castle is particularly noteworthy, and the castle's reflection in Sawa Pond is a must-see photo spot. Live music performances and tea services are sometimes offered.
