Noboribetsu Onsen is Hokkaido's largest hot spring resort, boasting a daily spring water volume of 10,000 tons. Known as a "hot spring department store," it features 9 types of spring waters including sulfur, salt, and iron springs. Jigoku Valley, the symbol of the hot spring town, is a phreatic eruption crater approximately 450 meters in diameter where you can witness impressive white volcanic smoke rising. A diverse range of accommodations, from large Japanese inns to resort hotels and day-use bathing facilities, offer different types of hot spring waters. The area is also rich with surrounding attractions such as Bear Park and Oyunuma Lake.
