Shibu Onsen's Stone-Paved Streets and Nine Public Bath Tour

Shibu Onsen is a nostalgic hot spring town where wooden ryokan inns line stone-paved alleyways. The atmospheric townscape, rumored to be a model for Studio Ghibli films, becomes even more enchanting at night when illuminated by lantern light. Guests are given keys to nine public baths and can enjoy "Kyuto-meguri" (nine bath pilgrimage) - touring baths with different spring qualities while wearing yukata. There's a special blessing where you can receive a completion stamp after visiting all nine baths. It's also conveniently located for accessing the snow monkeys of Jigokudani.
