Minakami Rafting

The Minakami area on the upper Tone River is the premier rafting spot in the Kanto region. From April to June, when water levels surge with spring snowmelt, you can enjoy especially intense rapids. In summer, the calm currents make it safe for families as well. Experienced guides accompany groups, so even beginners can safely enjoy the experience. All equipment including wetsuits and life jackets are available for rental. Beyond rafting, there are plenty of outdoor activities including canyoning, bungee jumping, and canoeing. Combining with a hot spring visit is also excellent.
