Kusatsu Onsen Yumomi Show

Kusatsu Onsen's yumomi is a unique bathing method developed to cool down high-temperature hot spring water to a comfortable temperature without diluting it with cold water. At Netsunoyu, yumomi shows are performed daily, where performers stir the water with six-foot wooden paddles while singing "Kusatsu yoitoko ichido wa oide~". After watching, visitors can participate in a hands-on yumomi experience corner, which is very popular with tourists. Kusatsu's hot spring source water reaches 51.3°C, and through yumomi, you can experience this traditional wisdom of cooling it down to a comfortable temperature. Located right near Yubatake.
